This is something I’ve been dying to give away to one lucky person…the all new My Memories Suite 3 from My Memories! This program is all-around awesomeness! With it, you can make scrapbook pages, calendars, put videos and slideshows together, add links to websites and more! If you’ve been wanting to add a little oomph to your challenges, but just haven’t taken the plunge into buying a program yet, you just may want to try this out!
There are basically three ways you can make scrapbook pages: design your own from scratch, template designer, and quick pages.
This is a page I made from scratch. I decided where to put everything. The papers and elements were all free from the My Memories store.
This one I used the template designer, which has everything all there in the program, but I still have the flexibility to move things around and delete what I don’t want.
This is a free quick page from the My Memories store—the scrapbooking was already done and I just added my pictures, title and journaling. I put this layout together in less than 10 minutes!
Also, if you make an assortment of scrapbook pages, you can put them together into a slideshow then add some music to it. You’ll be able to show them off on your blog, email them to loved ones, or burn them onto a DVD for a keepsake. You can see a slideshow I put together here for a previous challenge. This would be fun to do for a year in review video!
Also, one new thing I decided to try out, was the calendar. I haven’t bought one yet this year, and I was really missing not having a hard copy of one on my office wall. I created a simple calendar of January and February, then printed it off at home to put up on my wall. Now I can just glance at what’s going on—and what challenges are coming up!
For the calendars, I only used items that come with the program, background papers, shapes, flowers, ribbons, buttons, stitching, word art, etc. so you can see there is a variety—plus all the colors are named the same so you know exactly which color you’re getting!
